Winter Sports in the Smokies

Winter Sports in the Smokies

It is officially and effectively Winterfest in the Smokies! During this time, people come to the mountains for a variety of reasons, not the least because of the holidays, the romance opportunities and just a badly needed break from the routine, but one slightly less obvious reason is that we have capabilities for Winter sports enthusiasts to break out their skis, snowboards and more; and those seeking to get a hot burst of adrenaline out in the cold will want to get to know more about these facilities!

We now have TWO places that can provide winter sport thrillseekers with what they crave any time of season – whether there’s snow or not or even if its particularly cold or not! Let’s introduce you to them:

Both of these attractions are relatively easy to get to from Cosby Hollow cabin and can be gotten to in roughly 30 minutes or slightly longer (though we might suggest if going to Pigeon Forge Snow that you make it part of a longer visit to Pigeon Forge instead of going there just for Pigeon Forge snow).
